Jim Valvano’s love for food is the influence behind our menu creation featuring local and seasonal dishes with an emphasis on delicious Italian/American down to earth and traditional comfort foods using local farm grown ingredients and straightforward preparations. Also, we are excited to announce the arrival of our new Executive Chef, Michael Kuilan. Michael joins us with 15 years of experience as a trailblazer in the kitchen. His refined culinary and managerial skills have been instrumental to the design and successful openings of numerous restaurants in the local Raleigh area.
A comfortable glass enclosed private dining area, The Jimmy V Den, is available for all life’s celebrations including group gatherings, private events, and reservations to bring your friends and family together. Our wood stone fire deck pizza oven is surrounded by a marble chef’s counter which allows guests to watch the team of skilled pizzaiolos create world-class pies in a vibrant upbeat setting. Patrons can also enjoy and watch all their favorite local sports teams as well as National Sporting Events.
Jimmy V’s creators have placed a strong emphasis on developing a comprehensive assortment of beverages from handmade culinary cocktails to craft beers including local favorites such as Red Oak, Aviator & Big Boss. Also our creators designed an extensive and inspiring wine list to highlight the “by the bottle” and “by the glass” program.
Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and has the largest open air patio and outside seating area in Raleigh, perfect for sipping crafted cocktails and relaxing in a space that evokes a sense of style and ease.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon
Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar is thrilled to be a part of The V Foundation’s partnership with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series Official Charity Program. There are over 12,000 people registered to run in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon on Sunday, April 13th. Chef Michael and his team will be catering food for the runners after the race in the Team V Hospitality Tent (will be located next to Jimmy V’s Osteria + Bar).
